Our client in West Hartford CT is seeking an experienced CAD Draftsman. 

We are seeking an energetic Senior Designer/Draftsman to provide documentation support of mechanical, hydro-mechanical and electronic test equipment, specialized mechanical fixtures/tooling and general building/facility improvements.  Documentation includes developing and maintaining all necessary electronic schematics, printed circuit board drawings, mechanical assemblies, hydraulic schematics, detail mechanical component drawings, BOMs, architectural drawings, electrical layouts, plumbing layouts and factory layouts.

This is a contract position.

Requirements:
Ability to design creative mechanical, hydro-mechanical and electronics hardware solution.  Knowledge of fluidic measurement and metering systems.  Institute Configuration Management. Experience in detail Architectural and facility drafting. Good computer literacy and well-versed in necessary design related software including Microsoft Office. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and self manage work assignments. Understanding of engineering principles and theories in structural analysis and test methods. Good communication skills. Consult with engineers to discuss and interpret design concepts, and determine requirements of detailed working drawings.

This position requires 8-10 Years Engineering and Design experience. Knowledge of AutoCAD, UGNX and JEDMICS is necessary. Aerospace experience is preferred. A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Software / System Engineering or related field is required. US Citizens or Green Card holders only, please.
