Senior Desktop Engineer

Location: Hartford

Our client a large Healthcare company is looking for a Desktop QA analyst to join their team.

On a day to day basis this person will be responsible for providing certification and integration testing of software applications to the production desktop applications. These applications must be subject to stringent QA standards and this information must be documented. This position entails platform installation, configuring, invoking, transaction processing and detail documenting of the defects found during the testing process.

To be qualified for this position candidates must have a strong understanding of how applications work on the desktop computing environment. Real strong Operating System (OS) skills; understanding of the integration between Apps and OS. Someone who has experience with large scale migrations and/or OS migrations. Project Management, Documentation and People Skills / Communication skills are all critical to the success of this job.
